tax credits overpayed in error can get backdated esa

hi sorry to bother u all
im on esa appeals rate 71.70 from 8th october 2012 appeal on 26th march
for some reason tax credits started to pay me from 8th august 2013 so because tax credits ammount was 109.54 my eas could not be paid but i still had to give esa medical certificates which ive been doing i wrote to hmrc and phoned hmrc to get tax credits stopped and finally last weekthey did so
phoned esa 2 one person told me to send letter off finnish date off tax c and would be backdated to 9th august
other said i would get payment from 2/3/2014
i will have to pay tax credits all back

had you had a previous claim for WTC, Did this stop and restart?
Were you still employed but off work sick, if so I think WTC continue for a number of weeks so not sure why you would have to pay it back0 -
was paid tax credits in error was never working their mix up i will be asking for it all to be written off as noting to do with me0

how did they get your bank details...if you knew you were not entitled to it, why did you wait from august to just a week or so ago before telling the an getting it stopped? I doubt they would write it off given that you said nothing for 6 months0 -
Do you have children? I fail to understand how they can pay working tax credit if they have never been notified that you are working.0

i was due overpayment from 2010 2011 they paid i wrote countless letters and phoned countless times even recorded delivery letters to
i have no children and was tax credits0 -
sorry underpayment they gave me 400 plus but carried on paying me0

So you were working at some point? Do you still have proof of all the letters etc that you sent. Presumably as you knew you were being overpaid, that you knew this would happen eventually?0

i did and kept recorded letter0

i was never working i was due payment for 2010 2011 they payed and made new claim even though i was not entitled to it i told them numerous times evetually stopped and ar sending me letter saying ive been overpayed but can i still getr backdated esa from first day as ive got to pay money back subhect to appeal to hmrc as its their mistake0
