Anyone any recommendations for a good online backup service?
Had been using AVG's livekive free 5mb, but apparently they ending that service and liked the way it automatically backed up any files etc that had been altered and kept an archive of old files.
Have Sky Drive on my pc but it doesn't seem to automatically back up my files.

Doesn't the onedrive app automatically sync?
If you can't get that to work, try dropbox or spideroak0 -
I've tried syncing but either it doesn't work or i'm doing something wrong....0

What OS do you have? If it's windows 8, just sign in with your MS ID and turn on 'File History'..Drinking Rum before 10am makes you

Sorry, don't want to confuse you. If you sign into windows with your Microsoft account it will give you the option to automatically back up your important files to your Onedrive (ex Skydrive)..mugpunter1970 wrote: »Its 8.1 with sky drive app preinstalled, will look for the file history setting, thanks
File history will back up files to an external disc..Drinking Rum before 10am makes you

Backed everything up to an external disc via file history but still cannot find a setting on one drive that will automatically save changes to altered files and leave me with an archive of old files the way avg did......any one know of a back up utility that is similar to avg live kive?0

I thought Live Kive did incremental backups not differential? If that is so then Onedrive or Ccomodo drive or basically any of the major cloud services will offer incremental backup facilities.
What is it that you are looking to backup? Just certain folders or your whole drive?Drinking Rum before 10am makes you

Just folders, word pads etc that change a lot weekly have less than 3gb backed up with AVG so don't need anything too big...0

Onedrive is probably your easiest option and as far as I can tell offers the same service as AVG did.
Not sure who, if anyone, does a free differential backup service.
You could also look at Dropbox.Drinking Rum before 10am makes you
