Kaspersky Internet Security 2014

When I got my new laptop and installed my Kaspersky onto it, it automatically upgraded from 2013 to 2014. I sorted out all the scans and update settings as I always have done.
Quick Scan - Every day
Full Scan - Weekly
Vulnerability Scan - Monthly
Update - Every day (On 2013 it was every 12 hours but daily seems to be the shortest option on 2014)
Curiously I wondered why I wasn't noticing it doing anything I went into the reports today and isn't performing the scans, apart from the rootkit which it does automatically.
I have double checked and they are set up to scan. Also another laptop in the house has been upgraded and is not scanning either. Can anyone shed any light on this? Or has anyone else running Kaspersky 2014 encountered a similar thing?
Thanks

Being a long time user of Kaspersky Internet Security, the 2014 version has been nothing but trouble from the word go, and KIS/KAV 2015 is now well into Beta testing.
Over installing versions is not recommended by Kaspersky, do yourself a favour and don't chase your tale with this, there are so many issues with 2014 even the Beta testers for Kaspersky acknowledge it's the worst version Kaspersky have ever produced, hence KIS 2015 in the making.
Uninstall KIS 2014 and go back to 2013 which is working fine until a new stable version of 2015 is released.
