Epsom printer - only prints 2 pages

Hi
I recently brought an Epsom XP-405 printer. It was working fine, but now only prints 2 to 2 and a half pages of any document meaning I'm constantly having to resend different page selections to print out any documents. It is really frustrating as I'm trying to print out application forms and exam papers. Does any one have any idea about what I can do to overcome this?

Sounds like you need to change the paper size in printer settings.

Thanks for the reply. I have re-set the printer settings and checked that the right paper size has been set. Unfortunately, it's still only printing 2 pages at a time - It's almost as though the printer is not getting all of the data that is sent, as it quite often stops half way through a page. Any other ideas or suggestions would be welcome.

    Thanks

Assuming MS Office (if not then download OpenOffice or similar) open up a Word document and type a line of rubbish with line numbering.

Copy and paste all the way down.

Confirm that the paper size is A4 and print.

At what point does it stop?

Try turning the printer and deleting it from your PC.

Turn the PC off, turn the printer on and restart the PC. Should find the printer and install a fresh set of drivers.

Ensure the USB cable is seated correctly both ends and if possible try another one, especially if the one your using is longish. Ensure its not running alongside power cables.

If using it via wireless sometimes other transmitters like video senders can bleed all over a wifi signal and disrupt it. You can usually move it to a different channel to cure. If there is one in your house try switching it off.
