May sound harsh, but I don't waste time with ditherers any more.

    Price is now £449

I would not have linked to it if it was a load of unknown rubbish. That is why you posted on the Tech forum, to get advice from the people who know.
I can only hope that you actually ordered it in the interim.

Not harsh, bordering on megalomania though. So the bloke was just meant to spend £350 without question on your say so? The idea, when you've got no idea, is to build a consensus over a number of replies, not respond immediately to one person's opinion. As it happens, you're right, it was a very good spec for the price, but that's beside the point.

No, it is exactly the point. Other than that your post was a complete waste of time.

Anyone with at least a modicum of intelligence would understand that if it is a bargain, it won't stay around for long.

Google would have answered his question about Medion and we covered the questions about specification in detail.

    Anyway....I'm wasting my time here.

I'm guessing that you missed the irony in what you have written.
Exclamation marks denote that you are the one who is not calm.
You are so calm that you made the same post twice. ;)

I have given my opinion....that I no longer waste time with ditherers. I gave my "very helpful advice" and then left it....and they dithered and missed out on a bargain.

Nonsense about the OP spending £350 on my 'say so' is just that.
Others concurred with my opinion in that it was the best value.
Not only that, but it is not that difficult to order the thing first and then cancel or reject if something better comes along.
But dither and you'll miss out.

Now if you don't have any technical advice to offer, what exactly are you doing here?

It seems that you are the one who could not contain your 'opinion' on my post.

So, do you have a PC suggestion for the OP?

OP may want to bear in mind that games which run on older OSs such as XP may not run on Win 7 or 8 ....

I agree with nifty, he took the time to find him a great deal.

If anybody uses these boards regularly they will know people like nifty, closed, alienrik (and a few others) have immense knowledge in PC computing. If they offer advice and help its always bang on.

I'm not blaiming the OP but on forums you have to research who is offering you help and advice because you always want an experts opinion.
