Wrapping works even better than rolling. Lay things like linen trousers over the case, fold or roll the rest and put on top and then fold the trousers over the top. No wrinkles when you get to the other end at all. :)

Not very money saving when you're on a water meter

Most of my clothes don't crease, or I'm a real good packer :D

I'm assuming OP was using the hotel bathroom. I've done that but only when I've been using the shower/bath at the same time.

It can be difficult with special occasion clothes like weddings but generally I've gone to things like that by car so not needed to pack away.

As I love holidays I've gradually built up a wardrobe of clothes that travel just fine. Small creases soon fall out after a few minutes wear.

With linen, even if it is pristine when you put it on, when a couple of minutes it looks like a wrinkled dish rag. All part of the charm of linen and certainly very cool and comfortable in hot climates.

I always pack my clothes on their hangers, and whilst on the wardrobe rail. Just raise a bin bag over to cover them and tie it around the hangers. Fold the clothes once or twice to fit in the case, and the air trapped in the bin bag keeps them crease free.

This sounds a good idea other than extra weight of hangers plus taking up room in the case.

We weren't abroad just recently and the hotel had those ghastly hangers that clip into a metal bit to stop you pinching them. I do always take a few of my own as I hate those ones.
