Hi, I bought an item from a seller with alledged 100% feedback nearly 2 weeks ago. After an email he was going to check out with the post office. He tells me the post office sent it a week ago. The item was about £50 in value. Where do I stand, when paying through ebay and paypal!
Thanks.
Thanks.

Has the seller not been very helpful? This happened to me too. My seller was really helpful though.
You should e-mail the seller to tell them that you will have to report it to Ebay..

If you tell the seller you are going to be doing this they may send you the item again and claim the money back from Paypal themselves in order to keep a clean profile. Our dream has come true...0 -
Ask for a copy of the proof of postage. If it cost £50 then he should have insured it for that amount as without insurance he can only claim for up to £34 I think. I believe he needs to make a claim with the PO, but he should refund you.
However, he needs to wait 15 working days from the date of postage
before he can claim anything. The proof of postage certificate will prove date of postage. If he doesn't have one then go via the dispute console on ebay, which will probably take you to PayPal to file a claim.0
