I love my viners cutlery set, I like heavier cutlery, I've had my set for over 5 years now and they still look like new so they're worth every penny.•

Be aware that his appears to be 18/0 and not the better quality 18/10 you usually get from Viners. It is quite different.0

What does 18/0 mean?

A big thank you to all the fab people that take the time to post bargains :beer:0 -
Hi,
The numbers refer to the level of chromium and nickel content. 18/10 stainless steel has 18% chromium and 10% nickel, whereas 18/0 has 18% chromium and 0% nickel.
Nickel is what helps to prevent the stainless steel from corroding, so the lower the nickel content the more likely it is that the cutlery will tarnish.

I had my 2 sets arrive yesterday and they are being sent back today.
I paid £18.00 for each set that were allegedly 60% off and they are not very good. To be honest, they maybe worth £18 at best.

Viners are catching out more and more people with the junk they're sellng these days. They use fake RRPs to make the stuff look like a bargain, and the quality's just not there.
Another case, I'm afraid, of a company (much like Bush) that used once, many years ago, to sell high quality goods, but now sells cheap stuff, relying on people thinking it's still a quality brand.0 -
