Aqua card question (payment due date)

I recently got an aqua card to help myself rebuild my credit rating. I contacted them but haven't heard anything yet. I have not used my card yet.

Can anyone tell me what the payment due date is, if the statement date is the 6th of the month?

I get my statements on the 8th each month and min payment (if any) is due on the 26th. (Purchases from previous month)

Have you not registered online so you can check & see everything whats happening? If not, you risk getting sucked into the massive APR.

Register your card online, and you will be able view this information. Best to proactively self manage your financial accounts.

  • I am registered online, but it doesn't say anything. What is the customer service like? I sent the message a few days ago.

    Slow.

When you login it's kinda the middle of the screen, you should see account balance then credit limit then underneath your next statement; here should be the dates.

If you don't have this maybe it's not fully linked because it's a new account. I would pay it within two weeks of the bill date if you can't get an answer.

Once you get your first statement you will know the date and if you ask, they will change it for you to something more convenient n
  • It does depened when your payment date is. My payment date is 20th each month so the statement is produced on 3rd of the month, HOWEVER.....

I have noticed when they say the statement is due on 3rd, they do not produce it until rather late in the day. Therefore when I do get it, they are charging me £12 late fee when I don't actually know how much I need to pay

I have no idea how to raise a complaint as they keep saying 'its in in your terms and conditions Mr Ashby!! Does it say in the terms and conditions if you dont pay before 3 o'clock in the afternoon they will charge £12, or will they charge it anyway unless I make a random payment the day before
  • I don't understand what you mean. Your statements tells you the due date and your payment needs to have reached them by or before that date.

    I don't understand what you mean. ...

I don't understand why dandicash elected to respond/bump a 9 month old thread, especially when the OP doesn't appear to have returned to MSE for at least the last 6 months.

... but I have a good hunch

    Edit:
I see dandicash didn't hang around here after doing this either ...
