Hi, wonder if anyone on here can help, please? I would just like to say that I am not the most experienced of drivers.
Am meeting someone tomorrow at Cobham Services. I will be getting on the M25 at Junction 9, the other person will be coming from Hampshire so joining the M25 at Junction 12.
I've never been into these services before so am just a bit puzzled as to how I will actually manage to meet up with the person once I drive in there as I will be entering on one side of the motorway and he will be entering on the other side. Is there a tunnel under the M25 that connects from one side of the motorway to the other? We're supposed to be meeting outside some fast food restaurant, McDonald's or something like that.
Also, how do I get back to Junction 9 again. Do I have to drive to Junction 10 and turn round or is there a way of doing it direct from driving out of the services?
Thanks.

I'm pretty sure it's all on one side of the motorway and there's a tunnel linking the other side to the service area, so you'll both end up in the same place.0

Stooby is correct - here's what Wikipedia says:
Unusually, one service area is provided for both traffic directions and it is all located to the south of the motorway. Access from the eastbound carriageway is via a tunnel underneath the M25. Access from the west-bound carriageway is from the motorway itself.
You have 2 hours 'free' parking and you by using the tunnel under the M25 you can head back to J9 without going to J10.0 -

One service area accessed from either side of the motorway. The access/exit routes on the service area can be a bit confusing though so you need to concentrate to avoid getting back on the wrong carriageway.. McDonalds is in the main building down at the bottom near the toilets.loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.0
