It is not shown on the Barclaycard website, only 18.9% cards there...

A quick Google came across the following URL:
http://www.barclaycard.co.uk/personal/barclays-simplicity2876?TC=QXBCP23296
Clicking on the "Apply Now" took me to the page to start an application form.
AFAIK (and it'll be on a separate thread within this sub-forum) Barclaycard are changing some of their cards to Visa/American Express (akin to the Lloyds/TSB Avios cards scheme.)It's not your credit score that counts, it's your credit history. Any replies are my own personal opinion and not a representation of my employer.0 -
Yes, I also came across that url too from a Google search, but the fact there is no direct link from their website makes me think they are discontinuing the card.
I would try applying using that link, but was just accepted a month ago for a Platinum 0% card and as a new customer I've been told to wait a few months before a new application, as they are likely to decide it on account conduct.0 -

me too. as discussed elsewhere, Barclaycard have form for pulling deals when it suits them to do so. once a BT deal is done, that doesn't matter too much, but an ongoing interest or cashback rate that is pulled is not good news at all

Shame. I was suggesting it to my wife as I've got one (mine is 6.8% not 7.9%). Excellent card.
I couldn't find it on Barclaycard website, I googled it and ended up in this thread. I clicked on the link but sadly the card not available anymore
