Car Hire in Menorca

We are going to Menorca next week and want to hire a car. We have never hired a car abroad before, therefore wonder if anyone can recommend a hire company.

We could hire it from the airport, we are staying in Punta Prima which is close to the airport and could hire it from there - if there are any hire companies.

We are concerned about credit card security - do hire companies all require our credit card details.

i personally use a company called carjet- not sure if they cover menorca but you can get an online quote book the car in advance. we went to spain last year and they were well cheap for a brand new focus estate with air con etc... they normally pick up from the airport and take you to their office.

I can second that,we just came back from Majorca and used Carjet,got a free upgrade as well,just be careful though as you need to pay for a full tank of fuel and deliver it back empty.

We always use poppycars. Good prices. Excellent personal service and you don't pay in advance. They even send you a card with your credit card receipt to your home address.
