I just phoned shop and scan. They said they have removed Amazon E codes due to no stock. They will hopefully be back on by the end of the week.

Though why on earth they don't just show them as 'Out of stock' rather than removing them from their catalogue (and causing us all to panic :mad: ) heaven only knows !

They do not recruit using invite codes or referrals.

You have to put your name down "register" and if you meet their current requirements, such as age, area, gender married, children etc, then they will add you or just bung you on the waiting list

They are looking for a mixed cross section bunch, so I'm guessing short on male teenagers, full of 2 + 2 families

I filled in the registration a couple of weeks ago and thought no more but last week they emailed to say they wanted me to join so I've done all the entry stuff and now I'm just waiting for the reader. etc. to arrive.


Years ago I was on this survey, back when the barcode readers had to be plugged into the phone line. They would dial in to download the data in the middle of the night and it would sometimes ring the phone and wake me up!

I just got a text to say they've lost contact with my scanner. Now I did forget to transmit on Sunday but I already spoke to them and explained that I had dental surgery and I'm not feeling well so husband went shopping and forgot to transmit. Man on phone said that's fine so why am I getting this? I just want to lie in my bed and cradle my poor jaw (they were removing a remnant of a wisdom tooth root that got left in years ago during an extraction), not phone a muppet in a call centre to explain myself again.

I've had emails like those GlasweJen... and texts, and missed calls! I've missed transmitting a couple of times now, twice due to unexpected hospital stays and once when I was on holiday. I got pretty stressed out the first time it happened, as their messages can be quite aggressive, but the latter two times I just ignored the messages then went back to transmitting as normal as soon as I could. They stopped sending the aggro messages and credited my points as normal. So all in all, I wouldn't worry about it and just transmit as normal next week. I think they only genuinely freeze your account/removal if you just stop participating, period.

On a separate note, further to the advice I asked for earlier in this thread I've now been invited to participate in Food on the Go I just needed to be patient! Thanks for all your help guys. Still quite interested in doing Pulse/the TV and broadband thing, so will wait and see what happens.

Anyone else finding them taking a long time to add the points for scans of receipts? To start with I was getting them at the same time as the Weekly Shopping Download points but now it seems to be up to a week later. Just received one which I assume is from the uploads I did at the start of October.
