Your browser might be the issue rather than the operating system. Chrome completely stopped working for me with this a while ago so they suggested trying the app and that works fine for the barcodes then gives you an option to open a link to transmit your receipts. MS Edge will not work at all with this which is in Windows 10 and possibly 8 ( not entirely sure about when it started)

Whether it works or not drop them a line or call to tell them your issue so you don't miss out on the Christmas points.

I usually get an email around this time of year advising about extra shopandscan points over the christmas period. I don't seem to have had one yet, nor have I seen any mention of extra points on the upload site.

Have I missed it somewhere?
Anyone know if they are continuing to offer extra christmas points this year?

I received an email on 8 December about triple points over Christmas for 2 weeks. This is the relevant info from the email:


Instead of the usual 1100 points, you will receive 3300 points for each week that you transmit your barcodes over the Christmas period.

The triple points will be available for transmitting in the two weeks from Monday 18th to Sunday 31st December.

This means that the weekly reward points paid on Monday 25th December and Monday 1st January will be tripled.

During this period you will still receive 500 points per week for uploading till receipts as usual.

Thanks for confirming the extra points - helps me feel more positive about all the additional Christmas items I’m scanning, knowing I get a bit extra.

I haven't received an email (or the points) but as they have been closed for Christmas & New Year would expect it to arrive in the next couple of days.

Is anyone doing the food diary at the moment.
I have completed 5 out of 7 days for my first week and wanted to get it completed tonight but i have 'data connnection error'

I do shop and scan bar codes and till receipts.
My husband has been invited to do Food To Go.
I do most of the shopping but I do buy things that he takes for his lunch and my son's lunch.
I have read the Q&A but it doesn't say how much u get rewarded. Need to explain to him what he needs to do with the app and submitting things we buy

Any advice please. There was a post here but it's quite old so might not be relevant now

Food On The Go is an app you download, when you buy something (e.g. a sandwich from a supermarket) you scan the barcode and answer the questions e.g. where did you buy it from, who was it bought for, cost. Then you submit the info and you get your points weekly. If you don't buy anything that week you still need to submit "nothing bought" (it's a clear option when you open the app) to get your points.

I think I get 250 points per week as a baseline, then you get extra for your submissions, I think it's 100 but I can't remember exactly. The app is easy to use so he shouldn't have any issues.
