I would love an invitation/referral if anyone has one please

You need to register your interest here:

    http://www.volunteer4panels.com/

They will contact you when/if they are able to include you on the panel.
  • I've been with them for around 5years now, through several house moves. Always been great with me, though they do contact you if you don't scan every week without fail. You can let them know you won't be able to transmit (eg illness or holiday) but you do need to let them know if you want to stay on the panel.

I use a laptop and have had some issues with Chrome, which they addressed with fixes and patches to include Firefox (when I used that).

The cash by way of vouchers comes in handy. I save mine up for christmas, or convert evert £30-40 worth into Homebase vouchers which I then spend when they have 10-15% off weekends, and get nectar points too.
Also the christmas spend I often get Argos vouchers and spend when Argos gives an extra £10 off £100 spend.

It all adds up, and comes in dead handy.

Scanning weekly is even quicker if you and your partner get into a routine when unpacking the shopping, and then it can be done so quickly and you hardly notice it.

    I recommend...
  • The website has a new layout. Don't like it. Took me ages to work out how to get my amazon code.

anyone else got this email/invite? I must say the amount of point they offer its really silly plus its one off and they will be collecting data all the time...

As part of our research into shopping behaviour, we are interested in understanding about the marketing activities and advertising that panel members see in their daily lives and how these affect the products that they buy. We are now working with Facebook to evaluate how marketing via their services affects the purchasing of consumers.

To help us do this we'd like to ask if we can collect details of the advertising displayed to you when using Facebook.

t.gifFor agreeing to share your data you'll receive an extra 500 points in your reward account.

t.gifAll you need to do is indicate below that you agree for us to use your personal details - for example, your email address and name - to collect data from Facebook.

Please be assured we will not reveal your identity or any details about your individual participation in ShopandScan to Facebook. The number and types of advertising you see on Facebook will not be affected and as with all of the data you provide we will ensure any Facebook information is kept safely and confidential.

Yes I got that, was wondering if it was a typo and should be 500 a week. Which would be better as they want to collect data all the time. If it's just a one off 500points then not worth it.

Yes I got one of these too. I declined! It wasn't the measly 500 points, it was the level of stuff they wanted to know from Facebook. And they would respect your privacy....how???? If they respected our privacy they wouldn't be asking would they?
Once you agree you could be sharing anything with them, yours dog's feet or a bereavement....

For a while now I've scanned and transmitted my weekly shop from Asda. As I've now started using Aldi as well, I was going to start scanning their stuff too.

My question is, when I start to scan from the two shops, do I scan then transmit one at a time, or scan one then the other then transmit one time, with both shops' data together?

You just need to transmit once a week - all the data from both shops will be there :)
