Oh yawn, no, nothing has changed. Zenith is just DRP. No they have no power, a debt collector cannot sue. Ignore them.
That would have been ParkingEye or Civil Enforcement (or UKPCS maybe) and she should have defended the claim. We help people who get claims. We also have not told anyone to ignore a fake PCN for nearly TWO YEARS now so if she read old advice & ignored it then she should not have done that. Also the 'old advice' never, ever, ever told people to be daft enough to assume a court claim was fake and ignore that too! You can't help some people...I am worrying as another friend who took advice from here has just been told by her bank that she can no longer take an extended mortgage out due to some sort of debt/court notice on a ticket she didn't pay which has now affected her credit rating. She took notes from here and sent letters as advised then came the court letter which she believed to be a fake...
APCOA do not sue people (except in a case they tried re a Hospital and got sussed as having no standing to sue, and had to pay the defendant costs!).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
