Hi all, I've grown fabulous sunflowers in the past with no effort but am obsessed with tracking down this type, at the best price. Have seen something similar in B&Q (£3/20 IIRC) but would live to know if anyone has seen packs of seeds for £1 or so?

Surely the price will all depend on how many seeds are in the pack?
If you're getting 20 for £3, and only 5 seeds for £1 thats hardly a bargain. They will keep you don't have to sow the whole packet in one year.0 -
They are beautiful are they easy to grow?0

Hi why don't you keep the seeds from previous grows you get at least 200 per head
I have kept the seeds from these from last year I have way to many
I would happily give some away.
I don't think your allowed to put address up or I would post some.
Just a thought ........0 -

I was browsing through a 1* review on Amazon yesterday - apparently they grew well but weren't actually red . I've grown standard golden ones before (v late in the season) and had an amazing result. If I get hold of red ones I will gather every single seed like its a nugget of gold!Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

Try Poundland, I bought a multi pack last year, all colours ranging from very pale almost white to deep chocolate brown. They all grew pretty well and not gigantic monsters.
I had a quick look on ebay, these might be of use to you
