Afternoon
Been out for brunch with a friend and Mrs Milky is asleep in her pram so I'm having a sneaky cup of tea:cool:
Well LEA news, they are naming mainstream so I have to then appeal. Am hoping I still sort it all before tribunal stage but as soon as I appeal I will get a letter from court with evidence deadlines and appeal date so it's a bit daunting.
Noah now has Principal Officer of LEA as his caseworker...after a bit of complaining about the otherone;) so that's a good thing, he seems good.
They have, in a way, shot themselves in the foot as they have named the school I asked for a resource place in but given him mainstream side.....it's other side of Sheffield and is over subscribed even as a mainstream...but they seem to have given him that, rather than catchment school, due to their experience in autism...which in a way is admitting the local mainstream can't meet his needs. I'm sneakily trying to get the officer to put that in an email so I have it in writing :rotfl: but he keeps ringing me instead...meh.
This is the resource I need him to go to....it's not just academic stuff he needs, it's social and emotional support and teaching of life skills that others just develop naturally

I have to get independent reports sorted at approx £1000 per professional....even have to pay travel and hotel costs for them:eek:.....it stinks that we are going to be skinted from this:o........and that's not even starting on the legal costs.
Anyhow.....today I have fabada in slow cooker for tea.
Have put a wash on and tidied around.
Today should have been my booking in appointment with midwife so it's playing on my mind a bit but trying to shoo it off:(
Asher teething badly again and still struggling to get her to sleep in her own cot as she prefers to co sleep.
Noah at his dads this weekend so it's date weekend for us....looking forward to some snuggly time.
Just bought 2 vintage 50s gingham check short sleeved shirts from charity shop for 3 quid so am pleased with that:T
DG even though we had a small informal wedding the parents still had buttonholes and corsages....it was my mum who pushed for it a bit though.....is it not going the way you want it to?
Julie and mRsMH hope you feel brighter soon x0 -
Hello all
Thank you for all your support. It means a lot xxx
I've got his report through from the educational psychologist today. It makes for a depressing read. He needs so much help. I'm so sad for him. My poor baby boy.
I've managed not to sleep today!
I've given the living room a really good Hoover. Wish I could Hoover the cat as that would save hoovering so much!
Speak later all.
I really appreciate all your support. I'm not very chatty ATM xxx
Love, hugs & spoons xxx0 -
NPM, if we don't get anywhere with my nhs complaint then we're going to get a solicitor involved x
It's !!!! that we have to skint ourselves xxx0 -
Spoons, with an extra portion for LW,
Tried the online booking for GP again a short while ago; still no April appointments; in fact there are no appointments shown online whatsoever. This is after they told me at the surgery last Saturday that the April diary would be up on Wednesday or Thursday. So Mr LW and I will swing by the surgery again tomorrow morning, on the way to town for the F&V run, and see what's going on.:wall::wall::wall::wall::wall: What do I have to do to get my scheduled meds review?? If I don't have it, they'll refuse to do any more scripts for me, but as yet, all attempts at getting an appointment have been fruitless.:(
On the OS front - pizza dough is being made in the BM for tonight's dins; once that's done, I shall put the BM on again to do a tomato loaf. It's the last of our sun-dried toms, so I've drained the olive oil out of the plastic tray into a little jar; there's enough there for several pizza bases. Waste not want not!:money:
Yesterday I made cherry crumble - I'd got the crumble mix done when Mr LW called me, so I asked him if he wanted cherry or blackberry'n'apple doing, and he said "Do cherry; leave the apple til I'm there to cut it, to save your hands.":A I also made carrot'n'orange cake, so he's got some cake for his lunch box now.:D
I must try and throw the Dys0n round today; I had an online order from H0lland & B@rratt (they had their buy one, get one 1/2 price, and free P&P so I stocked up on broken nut mix, for making nut loaf) and the packaging was wood shavings, which means loads of little bits got dropped on the floor. If I can get that done today, it'll save a task over the weekend, in any case.:o
Large plate of dog food laced with heavy sedative put down for BDs.:DIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

An email was sent round at work today, the drinks machine is being removed from the staffroom, once it's gone we have to pay £1.02 for a cup of tea or coffee, what a ripoff.
I took to DGD today, brought her home with me, she's had her tea & is now asleep in bed.
Hsve a good day everyone.
