I missed out on the deal via the website but saw this on the save the student fb page.

Says they have 10,000 to give away at 7pm on Monday the 10th.

Let me get mine first though as like I said missed out on the one today! :beer:

Is it just for students with valid students e-mail?

I remember they had this offer last October, 14 October and it was for students only. I received my voucher in the end. Is this for students who did not apply for the voucher last October or this is open to every students?

It is confirmed to start today at 7pm and you will need an ac.uk email address to verify that you're a student!

Having a ac.uk email address is no guarantee of being a student, I have two, one as a member of staff and one as an alumnus. Is there any additional check that's made?

Is Redspottedhunky e-mail has to be with ac.uk address too?

Got code at midnight and put the code into RSH
Now waiting for it to be credited

Doesn't seem to be - you just get an email through to your .ac.uk address and have to confirm that it's a valid email address

No guarantee, certainly, but it raises the odds considerably. Maybe the best rough and ready check they can do without throwing large resources at it
