Good luck with it all and as one of the replies said it would be interesting how they have performed for you while you have held them all.

The ISA portfolio is currently showing a small loss in real terms. I started the portfolio with the funds shown in my first post around 1 - 1 1/2 years ago and as of today it is now standing at + 0,08%. A very poor performance given the gains seen in worldwide markets during the last 18 months.

Corac, bought at the end of last year is the best performing investment I currently hold in my ISA, with + 20%. On the fund side the best performer currently is the Marlborough Nano-Cap fund with + 11%, whilst the major drag on the overall performance is the Aberdeen Global EM Sm. Comp with - 8.8%, especially with this fund being my biggest holding.

I´ve been holding some of the above mentioned funds in a SIPP as well for around 5 years now with funds like the FS Asia-Pacific leader currently up 44%.

So, all in all a mixed bag of results but I will continue to drip-feed into these funds and actually would not mind a further setback in EMs over the next 12 months.

Nonetheless, adding some developed markets is my top priority at the moment and therefore, I really appreciate everyone´s thoughts and comments! Thank you!

    Have a nice weekend!

    Hello,

I am still pondering whether to buy the Vanguard VWRT or the Vanguard LifeStrategy 100% Equity Accumulation (GBP). And now I am a bit confused regarding the potential dealing costs involved when buying either of the 2 with/via Hargreaves Lansdown.

My plan is to make a small initial lump sum investmnet (maybe GBP 1,500) and then to drip feed 100 - 250 pounds on a monthly basis. With the LifeStrategy fund I can see that HL shows a minimum regular saver of 50 pounds. For the VWRT ETF they don´t. So wouldn´t I have the option to drip-feed into VWRT and/or would they always charge their 11.95 pounds per trade regardless of the sum I want to invest? If the latter, drip-feeding a 100 - 200 pounds per month wouldn´t make sense.

I´d be grateful if someone could help me on this! Thank you!

Ok, HL just confirmed that drip-feeding isn´t an option as they would charge 11,95 for each trade.

Seems it´s going to be the Lifestrategy fund then.
