Luma card Declined?

Hi, need some help. went through the application for a luma card earlier. after going through and submitting came back saying we need to do further checks and get back to u in 7 working days. i thought i call up and see. Called new applications, they found my details and said sorry but u have been declined. Why say we will need to do further checks when within 1h of application i was declined.

a bit about me, i have 3 accounts showing up on each of the credit reference agency they were all opened in jan and all 3 show 1 month of payment history. my name is on the electoral register and is showing up on experian as been added on 10/2013

any ideas why the decline? i thought this card was for people with little or no credit.

    3 new credit accounts this year, and not been on the electroral register 6 months yet. Doesn't look good to any potential lender I'm afraid.

    If one of the existing cards was supplied by Cap1, that itself will be the reason.

    Thanks, forgot to mention no credit history before these accounts. just a current account and mobile contract.
