No, but if your using a lot of energy over night you should look into a time of use meter, such as Economy 7, that has cheaper unit rates throughout the night.
Some suppliers will change meters for free.
You could ring up each supplier and ask to speak to their priority service team and they maybe able to help you with extra advice or direct you to third party charities who have funds hardship funds available.0 -
Have you checked with who ever supplied & installed the dialysis machine. My MIL had an Oxygen Concentrator which was running 24hrs a day/7days a week and the supplier/trust paid for the assumed cost of the electricity that it used. I can't remember the exact arrangements as she died four years ago but you should contact the hospital etc.
You should not have to pay for the power that it uses.
Likewise if you need to use additional water supplies then contact the water company as there are special arrangements in the case of medical requirements.Never under estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers0 -
