Green Flag & Topcashback?

Hi I purchased 'Green Flag 'premium breakdown cover for 2 cars on the 23/10/2013 at 'Topcashback' costing £110.24 of which cash back had been tracked & was pending within my earnings. The cash back sum was £40 something? I've just noticed the sum it shows in my account is now 0? How can merchants promise cash back then take it away? I've obviously been in touch with 'Topcashback 'who say 'the amount will uplift to the appropriate Amount'? But having checked T C B's forum it doesn't look likely with so many people never receiving any cash back even though promised? Green Flag do seem to have a bad reputation for giving cash back. I've always just treated cash back as a bonus but when you are so influenced by the amount of cash back, it certainly seems unfair. Do you think its worth my while going to the financial ombudsman? & mentioning stating the non payment of affiliate marketing

I had the same problem! Ordered the cover in November, with cashback and now they have declined, even though I still have the cover and met all their criteria. Raise a case against them! If that doesn't work for me I am going to complain to greenflag directly. Clearly they just use this as a hook to get people to buy the product and then they never pay out the cashback. I have just searched and found lots of people in our predicament.

Another one taken in by topcashback and greenflag. Ive been waiting since december for my cashback. If you look at the topcashback forums there are plenty of similar stories. Some are complaining to the financial ombudsman

Hi since this original post with no response I did contact the financial ombudsman & they gave me comfirmation of complaint & a reply within 6 weeks. On checking my account today within TopCashback I have noticed the £0.00 pending has now changed to £40.40 confirmation, so unsure whether its anything to do with contacting FOS, but progress.
