5k to save/invest/? what shall I do with it?

As the title says please

We have ISAs and other savings accounts already. I'm a bit risk averse tbh but want the money to grow quickly. In an ideal world I would like a magic wand to double it

I'm not massively financially savvy - although a lot better for being here. Any bright ideas please?

Have a read through the savings and investments sections on the main site, and do a search on this forum, there are dozens if not hundreds of similar threads.

Come up with some ideas and come back with them and people can comment further, your question currently is far too general to comment on sensibly.
