Hi well I am sure regular readers may have seen a couple of my posts over the last couple of weeks.
Anyway things are on the way to getting sorted now - estate agent called yesterday to say buyer was or had been to his solicitors to sign paperwork, so spoke to our solicitors and they are going to check this out with his solicitors today as they had to send copies of documents over.
My other half now has a job offer and start date for where we are moving to which came yesterday too!!
We are hoping to exchange contracts next week and complete and move out on the 19th march!!
My question is really about the rental property we are going for. We picked up the forms from the estate agent in the town we are moving to and oh my god the amount of details they want about our finances is unbelievable!
I am just a little concerned about the credit checks as it asks about credit card debt on the form and I have about 3k on two cards - both at 0% and with specific savings accounts where I put the money in to pay them off and be debt free at the end.
I do also have savings of nearly 7k so surly that has to be good - I cant use this money to pay off debt as have wedding and honey moon to pay for although I will still have a large amount of this money left and hope to be able to save around 5k additional by the end of this year. I checked my credit score and its 863 which says is very good.
I think I am worrying over nothing but the details requested by the form did scare me a little.
