Have updated my signature, will do this in the first week of every month now so that I can keep on track of the debt & hopefully see it decreasing.

Applied for a 0% CC to transfer the balances but the limit they offered was not enough so shall just keep chipping away at it.

  • Hi Mummychicken.

You are doing really well and seem really motivated, keep going with ebay, the fees are a pain, but even if you only make £1 profit its better than chucking/ giving item away and not making anything.

Surveys can be a good way to make a few extra pounds, but can be tedious at times, also I try and sign up to as many freebies as possible.

Good luck with everything, I hope you don't mind but I'm going to subscribe and follow your journey.

Thanks for your support Pwps , please do subscribe I need all the help I can get ! What do you mean by freebies ? And how do I get ?!!

Yes, the E bay fees are irritating but the cash I have made has amazed me as it's all stuff I would have given away, luckily I am a bit of a hoarder so I spent Saturday afternoon in the loft going through bags of old clothes to list on ebay for this week , I am not bored by it all yet so intend to keep going :)

Sold another item on ebay, £4.25 so took a walk to post office to send that straight off , find it better to post immediately as otherwise it lurks in my thoughts .

Simple tea of toasted sandwiches tonight as really cannot be bothered to prepare and cook a meal, feeling a bit low and sluggish.

What interest rates are you paying on the two cards?
Will husband notice all the selling and ask what the money is going towards?

Put it towards debt and then when you are clear and free you can start again. You and yours come first xxx

Had a very bad sleep last night, just could not relax, my mind is working overtime pondering on how I can find ways to clear my debt . I just want it cleared and I know it is going to take years but I could not stop thinking last night about how I would feel to be debt free and how good it would be to have savings.

I was thinking of all the fabulous things I could have spent £16,000 on and how I have nothing to show for my debts. Years of credit cards and consolidation loans have accounted for nothing, which really is shocking, annoying and frustrating.

Will make a big mug of tea and go back to bed for a few hours, hope to sleep and clear my head.

Spends today.... £20 on fuel, £11.45 on bits & pieces that I needed for tea and DCs lunches. Have wrote next weeks meal planner and done an on line grocery shop so hope to not run out of supplies.

A nice sunny day here today & chooks are laying well so had a lovely fluffy omelette for lunch.

Work tonight so I am hoping for a NSD tomorrow as if I am asleep , I cannot be spending !
