Hi I'm keen to download Libreoffice as I can't open Word documents/type letters etc and can't afford Windows office.
On the reviews it says it hasn't got "an integrated email account"
I'm not sure what this would prevent me from doing ? Does it matter?
My laptop runs on windows 8 (with Classic Shell) and I use Outlook for emails. For some reason there's also Windows Live Mail on it as well.
Any not too technical answers would be appreciated.

Won't matter at all. You already have two email applications.
BTW - you get Windows Live Mail thrown in with Windows 8 because Outlook is a paid application that doesn't come with Windows by default.0 -

Windows Live Mail does not come with Windows 8. It's something either the user has to download, or the manufacturer bundles with the machine.0 -
Outlook.com is hotmail.com in new clothes.
I'm assuming the OP means the website not the program.0
