    Not in the slightest, read it again.

    I apologise if I am wrong it just seemed a bit sarcastic and implied I was a free loader. I am far from a free loader to be honest and have never claimed anything from the government in my life.

    It wasn't a slight I promise, I was just pointing out that in simple terms an employer will pay as little as possible for a maximum output compared to an employee who will want as much pay as possible for as little output as possible.
    Don't trust a forum for advice. Get proper paid advice. Any advice given should always be checked

    Hi Jonron, presuming you take off and get paid for the bank hols you will be entitled to 10 days actual holiday pay.
    Normal contracts give 28 days including bank holidays. 8 bank hols leaves 20 days (4 weeks) to take as leave. If you take no holidays by the time you hand in your notice (end of June) then you will be entitled to 2 weeks (10 days) holiday pay.
