You are not guilty of anything, but we might say you are guilty of ignoring the advice and expertise repeated if you keep posting without taking any notice and acting on it.
You've enlisted the best help possible from great people - posts 2, 3, 4 - who give so much time to these Threads. What they write is what you obey, not a bunch of scammers.
Just settle down and get reading, thoroughly, before you post again.

So should I pay it?? Only asking because I read somewhere that if the appeal is unsuccessful I may have to pay the full £100
You haven't read the sticky thread yet and you haven't realised we win 100% of POPLA appeals, have you?! Please read the sticky thread linked for you already.

No worries
When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

The fact of the matter is that I am guilty. What kind of ammunition can I use to contest this?? They even provided me with pictures of my car with timings of when I entered and left the car park
Lose the guilt complex, this is a private company who have no right to fine anybody, period.
The most you owe them is 90 minutes parking at what price? Oh yeah, free!
The ammunition you will use is that they have no right to demand money from you for breaking some rule they have made up.
Now read the stickies that you have been advised to, appeal to G24, when they refuse the appeal (guaranteed) makes sure that they give you a POPLA code, then a forum backed POPLA appeal which is almost guaranted to win.All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing. Thank you to everyone with this issue. I have sent the letter off today (thanks to stroma and coupon mad) to G24 and also appealed through their website. Fingers crossed it gets waived. I will keep you posted.0

Great advice - just had the joy of picking a letter up - so going to try the first stage appeal.
Will let you know how I get on.0 -
Post up your POPLA appeal should they turn you down. Better safe than sorry.0

Please do it on your own thread.
It gets very difficult to follow and offer advice when there is more than one case going on per threadThe word "gullible" isn't in the dictionaryTickets: 19 [cancelled: 18, paid: 0, pending: 1]

I just got the email from G24 saying my contravention has been waived. Thank you all so much for your support and guidance with this. MSE is truly a great source of information for ignorant people like myself. I am so much happier now.
PS I had to make a new account as my old one (Mr Uddin) stopped working.0 -
