Model Railway People, Please Help (again, sorry!)

Right, just bought him indoors this http://www.amazon.co.uk/Hornby-R3017X-Herbert-Walker-Patriot/dp/B0091RWIAS/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top along with a track extension thingy.

I was going to get him some carriages to go with it, but no idea which ones. Any ideas, please?

Thanks!

  • As it's in early British Rail colours a traditionalist would probably go for Mark 1 coaches in crimson and cream livery (popularly known as "blood and custard").

This should only be seen as a starting point as i'm not a proper enthusiast, but I went for Pullman carriages to go with a similar looking train. I think it's really nice that you're bothering to research something for him. :)
