classic visa card

I had a (classic visa card ) starting in 1999,this card was still in use in nov 04.
I have all the statements and they all have cardholder protection plan on them, Is this the same as c.p.p ???
I am still with the same bank to this very day.
I have every statement ever sent to me.
When this card expired they started to charge a fee(£10 ) per mth + service charges. what ever they are.
I,m asking should i chase this ???
