Quote for Composite door and a window

Hello - I've had a quote today for a Golden Oak composite door, pretty much standard size door. with two panel windows in the top half of the door.

Also for a roughly 1 x 1 metre window, golden oak outside, white inside. with an opening top light.
Veka window.

This is my first quote and it came in at 1300, I have no idea if this is in the ball park or not.

Any advice welcomed.

seems high to me mate, I got 2 composites for 1150.
Amm int he north east, where are you located?

Cheers for the replies. I'm in the south Wales valleys. Initial quote was £1600, and they came down to 1300. I'm terrible at haggling!

I'd say that sounds about right. I had a composite door, sidelight and back door upvc done for £1,400, not a million miles from wales.Defo get 2 more quotes though then at least you know.

Not too bad a quote without seeing it. A decent composite for me to buy is a tad over £600 & oak window & glass is about £200 .
