With a few IPO likely to come on the market in the near future I am trying to decide whether to subscribe for Pets At Home offer with a minimum amount of £1000.
Only 15% is made available to retail investors and possibly a small premium in the early stages. What is the opinion of forum readers.
Thanks

I am considering it. I know the current owners may have squeezed the value out of it but I still like the look of it. If I do go for it I will probably sell quickly if there is a an immediate rise in share price, I did the same with merlin and made a few quid.0

Thanks Blackdog. I have invested the minimum today and will sell it asap if there is a rise in the price.0

£1.3 billion valuation seems overvalued in my opinion..think they only made a profit of about £20 million last year.0

Not sure about this one. It appears they are raising the money to pay off the present investors and not being raised for growth.
This is what happened with Infinis and the share price has just drifted lower.
BlueTree, You need to check your figures.
Pets at Home, which has 371 stores, made a pre-tax profit of £41.3m on sales of £515.1m in the 40 weeks to 2 January, according to the report, with like-for-like sales up 2.4%. The price of the shares will be set on 13 March with trading due to start the following week.0 -
