How do you by pass parental guidance lock?

I seem to be having a few problems with my computer. I am nearly 50 and my husband is older we have no one else in the house but it seems that a parental lock has appeared when I try to watch jonathan creek on bbc iplayer. I have tried to set a new password/code but this doesn't work. I have tried to follow their instructions to turn lock on/off by removing all cookies. I found out how to remove all cookies from chrome but I still can not access the programme. I think there is something up as I can not even sign in to the site, I get that wheel turning sign and it doesn't stop. When I click to play the programme the screen jumps up the page but shows me nothing new. Now I know it is not the end of the world if I never see this programme but it is a tad annoying that at my age I'm being asked if i'm old enough and being blocked. Any thoughts greatly appreciated.

Try covering the webcam. You obviously look good for your age ;)

Have you clicked on the padlock symbol?....That should throw up guidance on what to do next.
Or...Clear all cookies and watch the iPlayer without signing in. You should then just be able to tick the age box and click 'Play without setting parental lock' (or words to that effect).
    Good luck.

Good news, I tried opening the site using internet explorer and it let me, so I figured it was a problem with google chrome so I uninstalled chrome run a cc cleaner then re installed it and when I went to jonathan creek it allowed me to watch it. So everything is sorted, I can watch this tonight I do hope it is worth it. Many thanks for all your helpful advice I wouldn't have got there without you. :T

If you are lying and you are not old enough to watch you are actually breaking the law and I will be forced to call the rozzers.

Hi timj14, I think it's because you are a new user to the site. If you need to post a report you might be able to piggy back another thread that someone has started.

insert a space between system and 32 by doing a replace all in notepad, or change the 32's to 42's

    ie

    system 32 works

    system42 works

system 32 with no space between m and 3 doesn't
