Very

Hi There,

If you do not pay off your Buy Now Pay Later purchases by a certain time with Very the entire interest is added to your account balance, then account interest is calculated on it and added to the balance. Can they do that? Add interest to interest?

Ive spent the last two weeks trying to get sense from them and its like talking to the wall, its so frustrating.

Wondered if anyone knew anything.

Yes, they can. Once interest is added to your account it forms part of the balance, and the full balance accrues interest.

Tomtontom is correct, the interest (penalty for not paying within the interest free period) is capitalised and interest can then accrue on this new capital amount.
  • wow, thank you. Gutted to hear but appreciate the help. I can stop trying to get sense out of them now.

It would be for the best - they're nightmare to deal with!
