ESA - New Claim

Hi, everyone. I'm new here and this is my first post.
I have started a new claim on ESA because of an illness, won't go into details, but basically they sent me out this form that I had to write in detail what my illness was, it was like a survey. I knew that I had to send my sick-note from by GP to the ESA department, so I slipped the sick-note in the envelope and sent it.
However, two days later I had another letter arrive in the post from the ESA department asking me to check over my answers I gave them and send any evidence to support my claim so they can make a decision.
I have accidentally sent my sick-note in the wrong envelope, so what will happen!? Will they send it back, or keep it? I'm not sure if I should try go and get another sick-note from my GP ?

My understanding is that it's correct to send the sicknote first.
The additional evidence is if you have a letter from the pope, or want to include a musical that was made about you as additional evidence.
(or more likely more medical or letters from people who care from you explaining your disability)0 -

Check with them they have the sick note, and then, as regards the form, add any evidence, supporting information etc., you have (copies) and then send the whole thing back by recorded delivery.
LinYou can tell a lot about a woman by her hands..........for instance, if they are placed around your throat, she's probably slightly upset.0 -
I rang ESA on Wednesday and asked them if they had received the sick note, they said not and asked me to ring today. They stated a sick note can take up to 7 working days to be put on the system. I rang today which was 6 working days and they told me that they had all the evidence or additional information which was a letter from the consultant describing my son's condition, etc, a letter from school, and completed a medical form too. Due to be paid next week.0
