hi
i am in northern ireland and we are thinking about selling our house and buying another in order to cut the size of our mortage.
we would make a sizeable profit selling this house of around 150k but will be putting all after fees into new house.(20k of it not put in until next february when our fixed term runs out). would we be taxed on the profit we make?
thanks for your help.
