MBNA ppi offer low but no evidence

Hi there, I've had an MBNA credit card for about ten years, often with thousands on it. I've recently had a claims company look into ppi on my behalf and it turned out that MBNA had been charging me ppi unawares. They've upheld the complaint and offered £341.44 as compensation. The problem is I have no idea whether this is right or not as I was unaware that they were charging me ppi at all. I have no idea on the time period where I was charged and how they came to this figure. The claims company said they charged 72p per £100 per month which suggests the offer is low compared to the balances I had on the card. I don't really want to accept the offer without knowing more details. How do I go about this? Can anyone help?!

MBNA don't charge unawares, it would have been listed on every single statement.
Ask them how they came to this figure.
Or refuse their offer and send a SAR, see how much you did pay, then either send your complaint back, or forward it to the omudsman.
And wave goodbye to about 60% of your money to a claims company/taxman.Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0
