Child tax credit, redundancy question

Hi all, my husband is getting made redundant and I wandered if anyone knew if his redundancy pay will affect this years child tax credits we have received (2013/14). Many Thanks

Not unless it's over the tax-free £30,000, see http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/manuals/tctmanual/TCTM04111.htm
ETA: Though as BB says any payments which aren't actually redundancy like PILON and holiday pay may count. The general rules is if it's taxable then it'll count, if not it won't.0 -
Thanks, no it's not over the tax free amount and there's no holiday pay or pay in lieu of notice. He's just getting his last wage and redundancy pay. Thanks again0
