    Have you been assessed for income based ESA which will top up your contribution based ESA amount? If you have no other income or savings I would have thought you'd already be getting this. Being in the support group your contribution based ESA will not end after 1 year. You also need to look at Housing benefit or SMI if you own your own home and council tax benefit.

    The other benefit which you may be eligible for is PIP, it is taking forever for claims to go through but it will be backdated if an award is made. Also getting PIP at certain rates increases the amounts of other bits of benefits you'd get.
    Good luck with navigating it all, it is a nightmare so ask any questions you need, there's lots of experts on the benefits forum that have been through similar things to you and have had to become experts.
