log burning fire

Hi everyone... I'm getting a log burning fire.I have a back boiler and my question is...would I be able to heat my radiators off the log fire.. I'm getting a combi boiler as well so it would be a good back up..thanks..

    Yes you can but you will require either a Dunsley neutraliser or a H2 panel fitting to the central heating circuit / boilers and they ain't cheap !

    PS there is a solid fuel board on here too ! :)

    If you getting a combi ie no hot water tank than no you cant use the fire to heat your central heating(not entirely true but pretty much).

    Easiest way is to have hot water tank system with a loop in for a back boiler on the log burner to heat the tank.

    Have a look at the http://www.navitron.org.uk/forum/ there people on there who will have a much better idea of things.
