NPower, give me my money back please!!!
When I left NPower at the end of last year they only recorded my electricity switch, keeping my gas account as live but not actually supplying gas. I (foolishly in hindsight) was expecting a final gas bill so didn't cancel my dd and they happily took payments from me.
So many errors since, including issuing a large bill for the period when no gas was supplied, sending a reminder against that bill for an amount almost 3 times the bill balance, not fully completing the closure of the gas account only last week. It's now been passed to a dept with no customer contact who will take "as long as it takes" to close the gas account before the correct final bill can be issued.
Meanwhile, they hold onto £375 of my money and there's nothing I can do about it....Yet last sunmer they decided it was ok to double my monthly dd without prior consultation (this is the main reason I switched)
How can they be allowed to get away with this?
