Just remember it will cost you big if you name the solicitor as the Executor.

We have just come back from a Solicitor after having visited for a 'Free Wills Month'.

He asked how much we would like to donate. I said £40 having no idea what was expected to be honest.

Whatever he made me feel really bad with his comments to that and asked me to reconsider. I said I had no idea what was expected and asked him for guidance.

    £1000 says he...

He said we couldn't be expected to have it for nothing. He found out first how much the estate would be worth.

I picked up the stuff from the table ready to walk out and he still went on.. £500 then says he..

I just felt really bad and just wanted to get out of there.

Having got home I looked on the website and saw that the FAQ said..
"The solicitor will help to draw up a Will that accurately reflects the wishes of the individual or couple. Those taking up the offer are under no obligation to leave a gift to one of the Free Wills Month charities, however, we earnestly hope that many will see this as a chance to help their favourite cause."
We already have Wills and just wanted a small change.

Perhaps you might feel I am a skinflint and perhaps I am but I felt cheated.

So before you go make sure you have the information from the website in case you too are made to feel small.
I don't post much, but when I do it's all good!!
