How to declare dinner lady occupation

All right I admit it, I've steered everyone down the wrong path with "Dinner lady". Its the later - walking around the playground watching out for the kids or refereeing if its indoor play. I've tried all options on Admiral just to see - no second employment, 2nd as playground assistant, 2nd as canteen staff ... all the same price.0

In my first and middle schools in the early 90s we had "dinner ladies" that walked around the school yard. Usually parents of kids or older ladies who used to have kids at the school etc. They never went anywhere near the kitchen. Teachers only supervised the yard on morning break.0 -

Mine was different in the 80s/90s in that the "dinner ladies" only served the food and cleaned up with the Teachers/ prefects dealing with discipline in the foodhall. Teachers in the playground with 1 for the junior school and 1 for the high school.0 -
Even these days the people who serve food in certain schools are known as dinner ladies, my mum is a teacher and thats what they are called at her school.
I dont know what the other post would be called, playground supervisor, I think in a lot of schools the classroom assistants might do that, certainly dont know people who do that as their job, must vary from school to school.0 -
I am a lunchtime supervisor aka dinner lady. I have always used Supervisor on my insurance. It's what I do.0

At my schools ('70s) you'd have needed a crowbar to prise teachers out of the staff room during breaks.0

There were certain teachers like that, plus others that were round the back of the CDT building having illicit cigs with the pupils and then sharing the chewing gum/deodorant to mask the smell.
Most were better though and either did the supervision rota or ran some of the lunchtime "clubs"0
