Terrace house firewall repair- Liquid plastic or Evercryl waterproof paint?

Hello

The firewall on our victorian terrace house is leaking along with the chimny on the other side!

Ive had two roofers quote so far, one has quoted to use a liquid plastic system on the firewall where its also coated in fibreglass. They will also refit the chimny pots/ repair the flaunching/pointing. They have quoted £560 which is far cheaper than the other companies as they'll work off a ladder rather than scaffolding.

Another company came who seemed v good and quoted £300 for essentially the same work except they'll use evercryl waterproof paint. Much as I'd love to pay half the price im wary that the repair wont last. Can anyone advise whether the liquid plastic system is worth the extra cost?
