Is a week long enough to exchange/complete?

Hello everybody,
I was led to believe that we would be completing on the 7th of March. We have signed contracts but we haven't officially exchanged, as far as I know, due to awaiting enquiry response from the vendor.
According to them, they responded on Friday and posted their replies which I'm assuming should be with the solicitor Monday/Tuesday. My solicitor assures me that we're on track for the 7th and literally all they are waiting for are these answers and a few certificates from the vendors.
So I ask you...is the 7th still realistic? It only leaves us four working days and to me, this seems like an incredibly short period of time, especially to say we haven't transferred our deposit yet.

Deposit can be transferred sane working day from your account to solicitor's client account (by CHAPS transfer). You would want to do that Wednesday probably for a Friday Exchange.
Don't see why it isn't possible, BUT things tend to always take longer than you think...0
