Halifax Credit Card

Hi guys,

I'm new to the forum (hello!), but I was looking for some help with PPI I have on my credit card with Halifax. I'm considering putting in a complaint as I think I was mis-sold it.

I wasn't aware I had it on the card, but rather only found it by looking on my statement (it comes under "re-payment cover"). After wracking my brains as to how I got it, I remembered I was offered it when I first activated the card in 2008.

However, at this time, I was a full time student just working a part-time job (16 hours a week), so I'm wondering if that'd be considered grounds for mis-selling it, as surely it wouldn't cover anything if I had lost my part-time job, as my main "profession" would've been as a student?

Any help is appreciated. I'm positive I never received any policy books, so I can't even check to see if these things would be covered in it.

Jamie
