barclaycard ppi

just received a rejection from barclaycard for ppi.how far do barclay card look back in their investigation,doesn't say in the letter.i would have thought they could quote the start date of card.my card goes back to the early 90's

What reason did they give for rejecting your complaint ?

Is it a case of having no record of you ?

hi maggy,the original inquiry was a phone call to barclaycard the end result being told there was no ppi on account .then i was sent the questionnaire for that account and other cards owned by bc.egg filled them in ,then i received the rejection letters.because the card was taken out in the 90's i would have thought yhey would have quoted a few dates

Still not clear what you mean about dates ?

If you have been rejected by Barclays for each account you will have to take your complaint to the FOS .

I am not sure how far back the records go beyond the six years but it
May have helped you if you had sent a SAR on each bank you queried

In passing your case on to the FOS if you have good reason to complain you will have several month wait , mine over 18 months and since upheld in September 2013 still no redress :mad:

Barclays I have found very hard to deal with but I will not give up .

why don't you just check a statement first to see if you are actually paying it?
