Home visit went well, but poor old Fudge has got kennel cough. He is on antibiotics so hopefully will be better soon.0

What a beautiful dog. I hope you have many happy years together. Did you choose him because he matches your carpet and settee0

So sorry about your Womble. When we lost our little Yorkie we started looking about 2 weeks after, I couldn't bear coming home after I'd dropped the kids off at school and not being greeted by my little dog. I felt like my neighbours would frown at me though,(they didn't) but I wasn't replacing her, just wanted to give our love to another. Best decision we ever made. Fudge is gorgeous...here's wishing you many happy years together xx0

Yes, I can hide him! Womble had black fur which turned everything black. The rug there I found in the loft when Womble was ill to make it easier for him to walk around. Thought I would leave it down as the old rug was Wombled!0 -
I don't think there is a right or a wrong time. and you all know you cant 'replace' a pet, but you can 'spread the love'. I know people who have gone out and got a new pet within days of losing their much loved pet - its not because they aren't grieving but because they are! (if that makes sense). others cant face it and it takes them months or years - and that's fine too. you have to do what is right at the time for YOU.
Neames he is truly gorgeous and looks a bit of a character! I wish you all the best - um, you couldn't help but love that one could you? awwwwwwww0 -
Fudge is totally adorable. He will bring you so much happiness. He'll ease the pain of losing your lovely Womble. Much happiness to both of you.0
