    ncd was reinstated, no payment necessary,

    home insurance paid, no quibbles

    car insurance premium went up, as payment was due around time of incident, even though insurance not paying for fence or car.....this is cheeky, she was better off not reportiing it to car insurance, you are penalised for telling them about it....they win either way, they benefited financially from incident that they were not involved with.

    advice on this thread was well meaning but inaccurate in this instance.

    They will argue that as you have been involved in an accident you are a bigger risk.
    I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.
